STEP 10 – CARDAMOM ESSENTIAL OIL

broken image

Make way for the Queen…of Spices—as CARDAMOM is known in the cooking world.

This Essential Oil is distilled from the seeds of the plant, which is closely related to Ginger.

CARDAMOM is quite popular in cooking, as it can help flavor a variety of foods, including breads, smoothies, meats, salads, coffees, teas, sauces, and pastries.

Like Peppermint Essential Oil, CARDAMOM Essential Oil is cooling to the skin and can be used topically or internally to help soothe occasional stomach discomfort.*

CARDAMOM Essential Oil is one of the key components in the Respiratory Blend because of its high 1,8-cineole content—1,8-cineole is one of the best components for promoting clear airways and supporting the respiratory system.*

CARDAMOM Essential Oil has a unique spicy, fruity, warm, balsamic scent that can help set a cozy mood during the chilly winter months. It is calming and promotes a positive mood, making it ideal for DIY room sprays and potpourri mixes.

PRACTICAL USES

• Dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply to stomach to help ease indigestion or to the chest to help promote feelings of clear airways.*

• Use in the kitchen to flavor a wide variety of foods and drinks.

• Diffuse or inhale to calm the mind and nerves.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

AROMATIC USE: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

INTERNAL USE: Dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid.
TOPICAL USE: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.
