STEP 7 – BLACK PEPPER ESSENTIAL OIL

broken image

BLACK PEPPER makes a great flavor enhancer when cooking, especially for meats, marinades, and soups, but its wellness benefits span so much more. It also aids in digestion,* which is another reason to experiment with it in your entrees.

This oil contains many components that support the body and its systems in the areas of immune support,* healthy cell function,* and healthy circulation.* In fact, although it is one of the less discussed oils today, the ancient Greeks and Romans valued this oil so much that they often used it as a type of currency.

When used topically, BLACK PEPPER Essential Oil provides a warming sensation. It can soothe anxious feelings and stressful thoughts, which makes it an ideal choice for a relaxing massage.

BLACK PEPPER Essential Oil has a hot, sharp, fruity, spicy scent. In the kitchen, it mixes well with Clove and Cilantro Essential Oils. Aromatically, it pairs exceptionally well with Cedarwood and Juniper Berry Essential Oils, especially if you’re looking to de-stress and feel emotionally grounded.

PRACTICAL USES:

• When you wake up from a nap feeling groggy, apply to the bottoms of your feet to help wake you up.

• Mix one drop with Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply to the bottoms of your feet before taking a winter walk. This will help keep your feet warm!

• Create a warming, soothing massage by combining one to two drops with Fractionated Coconut Oil.

• Diffuse when experiencing anxious or stressful feelings.

• Put one or two drops in a veggie capsule to assist your body with both immune and antioxidant support.*
